Parker's INT return for TD lifts Argos over Lions

07/23/2010 - Toronto, ON (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Byron Parker's 41-yard interception return for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference as the Toronto Argonauts came back to defeat the British Columbia Lions, 24-20, at the Rogers Centre.

Travis Lulay, who was making his first CFL start at quarterback with Casey Printers being held out due to a nagging quad strain and a sore right knee, finished the night 26-of-40 for 330 yards for the Lions (1-3), but he too was intercepted two times as the squad bowed for the third time in as many outings.

For the first time in CFL history a pair of teams clashing on the gridiron were owned by the same person in David Braley.

With the playoffs about two months away, the top two teams in the Western Conference are the clear cut leaders to win the NBA Championship. The addition of Chris Webber seems to have been a good move for the Pistons.  Since coming over from the 76ers, Webber has averaged 13.1 PPG and 7.3 RPG and the Pistons are 11-4.  Even though the defending champion Heat are currently on the playoff making cusp, they are the Eastern Conference team that is getting the most action to win it all (9-1).  The fact that Shaquille O’Neal is back in the starting lineup after missing 39 games probably has something to do with this.  No doubt, Shaq makes a difference when in the lineup as their winning six out of their last seven would indicate.
